We welcome children from the age of ten to our club
We cannot provide archery or training for children under ten for health and safety reasons
Torquay Company of Archers, as part of Archery GB, is fully committed to supporting all children and young people to achieve their potential in archery. We uphold the guidance set out by the Government in their document ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’, revised in December 2020.

We understand that providing a positive environment where children and young people are protected from harm is vital for making sure we provide the best possible outcomes for children and young people
We accept the duty of care to protect and promote the wellbeing of all children and young people regardless of their age, sex, religion or beliefs, ethnic background, disability, sexuality, social situation or economic background. We are committed to making sure safeguarding practice reflects our legal responsibilities, government guidance and best practice.

Please note that a child or young person is any person under the age of 18 and should be accompanied by a parent/carer during their time at our Club. We cannot accept children being left at Torquay Archers to be collected later.
